Mustajab Nasi Padang

8 years and today is the last day for Mustajab Nasi Padang Restaurant in Tras Street. Most of my lunch hour is spend here. Well, three times a week. I love its simple malay food, from a cup of teh talik to the delicious spread of nasi padang. And not forgetting the company of lunch hour friends, who we get to know each other at the restaurant. We eat, we chat, we chat and we eat...enjoying that one short hour or so before we continue the rest of the days’ work.

Is a place more than just food. A place to slow down the pace of work, a place to brainstorm for ideas, a place for “where to meet, har?” and sometimes, a place to ponder. A place I will surely miss, a place I will never forget. Though the buffet has ended, I’m sure there’s another waiting somewhere very soon.

I’m starting to miss the Mee Siam and the vege-ball.

Sigh!!!! I already missed the food there. I love their teh-O. They've been at Tras Street for over 10 years, I think.
