PLY Concept Phone

So much hypes and reviews since the launch of the 3G iPhone that I just feel nothing excites me anymore. Until I came across this. Is not from Apple. A very refreshing design, which using the idea of multilayered plywood concept. And each layer has its own distinct function. From a photo printer to a mini digital projector! Yep. Is still a concept phone but as chips and electronic parts get smaller, the impossibility seems possible. Who knows in future, it might even make your a cup of coffee. Apple New MacBook Air.

Is it really that thin? That was my first question I ask myself when I saw the MacBook Air today. It looks very optical illusion-ly thin. This <---> looks thinner than this >---<. Still, a great piece of design but bloody expensive. Bloody.

R2D2 DVD Projector

Saw this article in FIRST magazine. A 1:2 scale radio control R2D2 DVD projector. Darn cool. Beside projecting movies onto an 80 inch screen, it also plays CDs, MP3, MP4 and it comes with an iPod dock. Plus all the R2D2 sounds, lights and actions.
